Here are some common questions or concerns that voters seem to inquire about while I am out and about hanging door hangers.

1 – Abortion – I am pro-choice on this issue. It is not personally my main concern, but it is a main concern for many of the people in District 9. That being said, “my body, my choice” also means that I am pro-choice on the vaccine issue. I believe that no one should be forced to put something into their body that they do not choose to. Untested, unsafe vaccines should not be mandated for anyone.

2. Guns – I am pro second amendment because I am an avid student of history all over the world. History proves and current international geopolitical events continue to prove that the founders of this nation were correct. The second amendment was not for the right to hunt. The second amendment is there to allow the American public to protect itself from overreaching government which is a problem that we have today.

3. Education – This topic is one of my main topics of interest and it is one of the things I am running on. After petitioning this past winter I discovered that Education was a very important concern within the community from many of the voters here. I personally believe that a lot of things that used to be an important part of our education are now missing from it that should not be. Critical thinking skills is one of those things as is a true understanding of how our government was meant to operate. There are many complaints from parents and teachers alike that seems to be causing dissention within the community around this issue. It would seem that administration is not backing up teachers and educators within the community in order to be able to provide engaging quality education for our youth of today. The youth are the future and if we don’t arm them with the necessary tools and skills to become productive citizens in our society then we have failed. One of the things that I think could help with this, but it is not the only solution is trade schools. Not all students need to go to a university to become successful adults. Although, that is the current myth. Go into thousands of dollars of debt before a young person ever joins the workforce. College debt has become like carrying a mortgage without a house into one’s adult life. That is upside down personal economics. It doesn’t work. Especially in a time when rents and housing prices are over inflated.

Economy – This topic is very important to me personally. It should be important and understood by the public, but many people have been miseducated about it by no fault of their own necessarily. I believe in Austrian practices vs Keynesian economic practices. Credit systems are great in the correct context. The problem we face today is most people are saddled with endless debt because the value of their labor goes down every time the Federal Reserve creates more money supply. There is an excellent book by G. Edward Griffin “The Creature from Jekyll Island” that I highly recommend for anyone wanting to better understand the details of this topic. Former Texas House Rep Ron Paul has some excellent books on this topic as well. To better understand my views these are recommended reading. In a nutshell, America’s credit card will not be valid forever. The day the creditors stop accepting it will be the day that the can, which has been kicked down the road for decades, will stop and collapse. State governments should work to become sovereign economically once again. Currently, all states are much too dependent on Federal dollars. This dependence allows the Federal government powers it was never meant to have over the states.

Immigration – I am personally against unchecked immigration. If someone comes to the U.S. through the proper channels and is willing to become a part of American society and become productive members of that society I am very supportive of that. I don’t agree with strangers coming through the door without being property vetted. Most people I know would not allow a stranger to walk up to their door and just run right into their private home so we shouldn’t continue to allow that behavior from our Federal government. Honestly, it is an issue of national security at this point.

Federal Goverment v.s. State Government – The way in which our founders designed the American government it gave States and Local governments the most power and the Federal government the least amount of power. I still believe this should continue and centralized global government should not have full control of our state and local decisions. The initial idea of what the Federal government responsibilities should be are the security of the Republic and trade with the established Republic. Those were the two main functions and still should be the main functions. Currently, our Federal government has been given way too much power by the states over many decades. I am an advocate of individual rights. The Constitution governs what I will decide.

Healthcare – This is another out-of-control area within our current system. It has very little, if any checks and balances because everything here has become just as bureaucratic as the education system. It’s so bureaucratic that the World Health Organization believes it gets to decide for you what your health care should be. What you should and should not have available to you. I have personally found that old modalities, and alternative medicine have worked best for me personally. If you’re going to have insurance then Big Pharma shouldn’t be the only skin in the game. Big Pharma mostly offers expensive drugs to solve health issues when it is proper diet that can often solve more problems better, but there is very little public education on this outside of what Big Pharma prescribes. They in essence, have a monopoly on your healthcare at this stage.

Social Justice – Social justice has a place in society, but currently it has become prioritized as number one on the list of concerns when it should be economics, security, and productivity. If society is not a free, self-sufficient, functioning society then social justice becomes a silenced activity. You only need to study history to see how this works in societies of the past.

Gay Marriage – I am for it, but at the same time I disagreed with a Christian owned store being told they should have to create a cake for a client that went against their own values. There are plenty of other establishments that have similar values that offer the same product. People need to learn to accept each other’s differences and move on.

Free Speech – I believe that there should be some mechanisms put into place to curtail Big Tech’s monopoly on who gets to speak and who does not get to speak on their platforms. It is big business that needs to be reigned in rather than the individual citizen. Free speech is too important of an individual right to be curtailed.

Church vs State – I still believe that church and state should be separate. Many people say they want the bible back in public education, but OH District 9, as is the rest of the nation, are all much more multi-cultural in today’s society. There are many other religious values that now exist in our society. Yes, America was founded on a Christian faith, but freedom of religion was one of the main reasons this country exists today.

Veterans – I am pro veteran. Anyone who has been willing to serve in the military has made huge personal sacrifice at deep personal cost.

Police – I am pro police because I still believe in justice. I think our police have become demonized by mainstream talking points. Not to say that there isn’t racism that comes into play at times, but this is not a reason to demonize all of law enforcement.

Death Penalty – I personally do not have a strong opinion on this topic at this time. Although, I did recently speak with a Pastor within the District 9 community who is strongly against it.

Trans People in Women’s Sports – I am a woman and I played women’s sports when I was in junior high, and high school. Biological males should not be playing within biologically female sports. If we need to create a trans people league to solve this issue perhaps we should. Perhaps we also need a trans public restroom, just like we already have men’s, women’s, and family public restrooms.

Voting – I am not a fan of mail in ballots or exterior drop boxes. However, I do agree with early voting. I personally witnessed election fraud in Ohio in 2004 and the extremely long lines that occurred during that election cycle on voting day. There was also a little-known fact, during that same election cycle in Ohio, that for the first time in the history of exit polling the exit polling results did not match the official results that year. In each of Ohio’s 88 counties those results were off by exactly 33.3% in every county. There weren’t varying percentages. It was proven through the courts that the Diebold machines that were used at that time had been tampered with. I am also not a fan of non-U.S. citizens voting in our elections. That is an actual national security issue.
